Well, i'm going to a Local Library today and see some old car magazine to fully understand what sort of car that we droves in the 80's and 90's. Plus i want to do some actual research on some Facinating story that involved bunch an Indonesia's Biggest Ferrari Collector.

The story was, in 1995, a there was an Indonesian oil magnate called Tony Lim who purchases a Rosso Corsa Ferrari F50 in RHD. He daily drives that thing to his office everyday (what a man!), because that car is one of his favourite collection of all the Ferrari that he has.

Until one day he hits a Bajaj (an Indonesian version of Tuk-Tuk) and damage his F50 quite badly. He then restores it to a pristine condition, and put the car inside his house and never driven it again.

Then, in 1998, his Oil company has gone bankrupt due to Asian Economic Crisis, and he burn himself with all the house and the Ferrari inside it. He also has 308GT4, 400i, 456, 512BB, 512TR, 288GTO(LHD), and a F40(LHD). I really want to write a piece about it, but unless i can confirm that he does own those cars, i wouldn't write it.

Kinja'd!!!

But i do remember seeing an old car magazine from 1995 that features all his car and makes me really love the F50. I'm pretty sure it was MobilMotor magazine, since MobilMotor always has something absurd to feature, like a Datsun Sena. And oh, if you have something about Indonesian cars of the past, you can always ask me everytime.

People shit on the F50 for not being a worthy successor to the F40, but nevertheless I've always liked it. It's styling is a prelude to the Enzo, and almost embodies the 90's rounded car design, whilst retaining just enough angles to keep it as good looking today as it was in 1995. Sleek and proportioned, I wouldn't say no.

You know until last year I thought everyone liked the F-50 as I did. I was a bit to young to 100% remember the F-40 but I do remember the awesomeness of the F-50. All this F-50 hate came as quite a surprise to me. I just love the engine it sounds amazing.
